I Love Those Spring and Summer Mornings

This is something I thought of this morning when I woke up this morning and went outside. I wrote about it and decided to share with all of you wonderful people.

I love those mornings: in the spring and summer where it had rained the night before. I can remember them very clearly. The sky is ominous, yet there's a hint of sunlight peeking through, not yet touching the Earth with its warm finger. The air is cool, touched with a slight, gentle breeze; blowing my hair left and right. I get bits of just-slept-on-hair in mouth. It tastes of my detangler spray: apples. There is a smell of sweet water in the air. A combination water and the pollen it stole from the flowers the night before. I sit outside on the porch slowly sipping a warm cup of hot chocolate. The warm chocolate dancing on  my tongue. Then, I go inside and the sensation of this morning is over.
It's memories like these that remind me of my surroundings and nature. I love those spring and summer mornings.

Thank you for listening. Sorry I haven't written in a while. I hope you liked it.

Do NOT Overpack!

This year I went on my first school trip away from home. I have been to sleep-away camp before. This was my first school trip away from home. The trip was in Sussex County, NJ. I thought everything would get wet, so I packed a whole bunch of extra stuff. That was not a smart idea! I had this huge duffle bag filled to the top. I got there on the first day and started right away. Everything went by so fast that I had barely anytime to go back to my cabin, so I had about four shirts that I didn't touch at all! The weight of the bag was about three pounds which was a lot for two days. I had so much fun, but thank goodness I only had to carry my bag to and from the bus. Well, I think it would be a waist of time if this article didn't have a lesson in it. The lesson is...
 Do NOT Overpack!!!
Have a nice day! :)
